Taffnee Faimon has an MA in English literature, but her passion is learning about Scripture, the time periods represented throughout Scripture, and all the extra, fascinating historical information that informs Scripture and illuminates connections between the Old and New Testament and the old and new covenant.
She is an avid baker specializing in custom cookies under the banner “Sprinkle Up Baking”.
Taffnee’s greatest accomplishment is also her greatest blessing as the proud, honored mother entrusted with the care of four little souls who instruct her heart daily. She and her husband, Jordan, have been married for 9 years; their kids are 8, 6, 3.5, and 3.5.
Taffnee finds many exciting passages and verses in Scripture, but one that has closely and regularly written itself on her heart is John 1: 1 – 3, wherein the Gospel writer echoes the opening of Genesis.
Thrilled to study and learn more about her Catholic faith and the Roman Catholic Church, Taffnee is an eager participant in the liturgical seasons of the Church. The season that speaks so deeply to her and has shaped her faith so much, is Holy Week, specifically Holy Thursday wherein Christ institutes the Eucharist, the new and everlasting Covenant. On this day, you will find her washing her children’s feet and keeping watch in the Garden with Christ.
