JOB OPENING FOR DIOCESAN ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

The Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau seeks qualified applicants to fill a position working in collaboration with the Diocesan Director of Youth Formation to develop and implement diocesan policies and programs related to Youth and Young Adult Ministry that will promote the three priorities of the diocesan Mutually Shared Vision: Growing in Holiness, Forming Intentional Disciples, and Being Sent to Witness. Applicant must be a practicing Roman Catholic. Employment or volunteer experience in youth or campus ministry at a parish, university, Catholic school, or diocese is required. Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Theology, Catechesis, Catholic Education or other related degree is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, exempt position. Evening and weekend hours, as well as extensive travel driving across the diocese will be required. Compensation includes a competitive salary, excellent health benefits, and retirement plan based on diocesan guidelines.
